INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Deenow, operated by ThirdSocket ("ThirdSocket," "we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we collect, use, and safeguard your information. This Privacy Policy explains our data practices for the Deenow mobile application (the "App"), which connects consumers with local retail promotions through location-based discovery.

Deenow is designed with privacy in mind. We do not require you to create an account, and we minimize the collection of personally identifiable information. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your data.

By using Deenow, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use the App.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Retail partners voluntarily provide information to Deenow through their partnership dashboard or portal to have their promotions featured on the platform. This information includes:

  • Business Information: Business name, store location details, and store identification

  • Promotional Materials: Promotional images, flyers, advertisements, and marketing materials uploaded directly by retailers

Retailers upload this information directly through their retailer partnership dashboard to populate their promotional listings on Deenow. We collect and process this information to serve relevant promotions to consumers based on their location and search preferences. All retailer-provided information is subject to our content moderation policies and Terms of Use.

We collect and process photographic content from three sources:

Company-Uploaded Photos:

  • Our company representatives collect and upload photographs of promotional materials (flyers, signs, advertisements, in-store displays) from retail locations and public areas

  • These photos are collected to populate the Deenow promotional database

  • Image metadata may be collected, including timestamps and camera information

Retailer-Uploaded Photos:

  • Retail partners may upload their own photos of promotions, products, store materials, and advertising content directly to Deenow

  • Retailers can provide promotional images through their retailer partnership agreement

  • When retailers upload images, they grant Deenow the right to:

  • Process the images using artificial intelligence to extract text, pricing, dates, and promotional details

  • Store the images on our secure servers

  • Display and share the images with Deenow users on the platform

  • Use the images for quality assurance, content moderation, and service improvement

  • Retailer-uploaded images become part of the Deenow promotional database and may be viewed by users searching for nearby promotions

Consumer-Uploaded Photos:

  • Consumers may upload photos or images to Deenow to share promotional content they discover

  • When you upload an image, you grant Deenow the right to:

  • Process the image using artificial intelligence to extract text, pricing, dates, and promotional details

  • Store the image on our secure servers

  • Display and share the image with other Deenow users on the platform

  • Use the image for quality assurance, content moderation, and service improvement

  • Uploaded images become part of the Deenow promotional database and may be viewed by other users searching for nearby promotions

  • You retain ownership of your uploaded images but grant Deenow a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them as described in these terms

AI-Processed Data:

  • Our artificial intelligence systems extract text, pricing, dates, and promotional details from company-uploaded, retailer-uploaded, and consumer-uploaded images

  • Extracted information is used to create searchable, organized promotion listings

  • AI processing helps ensure promotional content is accurate and up-to-date

Important: By uploading images to Deenow (whether as a consumer or retailer), you represent and warrant that you have the right to upload the content and grant the licenses described above. Do not upload images containing personal information, copyrighted material you don't have rights to, or content that violates our Terms of Use.

Deenow does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. Your privacy is not for sale.

6.2 Aggregated Analytics Shared with Retailers

We provide retailers with anonymized, aggregated statistics about their promotions:

  • Metrics Provided: Total views, click-through rates, geographic distribution (by city/region), engagement trends

  • Anonymization: Data is aggregated across many users and cannot identify individuals

  • Purpose: Help retailers understand promotion effectiveness and optimize their marketing

  • No Personal Data: Retailers never receive names, device IDs, precise locations, or any personally identifiable information

6.2a User-Uploaded Content Shared with Platform Users

When you upload images or photos to Deenow, those images become part of our shared promotional database and may be displayed to other Deenow users. This sharing is a core feature of the platform—it allows the Deenow community to discover and benefit from promotional content that users like you have found and shared.

What Gets Shared:

  • Your uploaded images and photos of promotional materials

  • AI-extracted information from those images (text, pricing, dates, promotional details)

  • The geographic location where the promotion was discovered (city/region level, not your precise location)

  • The date the promotion was uploaded

What Does NOT Get Shared:

  • Your name, username, or identity

  • Your contact information (email, phone number)

  • Your precise location or home address

  • Your device information or identifiers

  • Your browsing history or saved promotions

How Your Content Is Used:

Your uploaded images are processed through our artificial intelligence systems to extract promotional information, making discoveries searchable and organized for other users. The images and extracted data are displayed within the Deenow App only—they are not sold, licensed, or shared with external marketing companies, advertisers, or third parties outside the platform.

Your Control:

By uploading content to Deenow, you acknowledge and agree that the images will be shared with other platform users. You have full control over what you choose to upload. If you do not want an image to be shared with other users, do not upload it to Deenow. For information about removing or deleting uploaded content, see Section 7.1 of this Privacy Policy.

Community Trust:

We rely on our users to upload authentic, accurate promotional content. By uploading images, you represent that you have the right to share the content and that it complies with our Terms of Use. Misuse of the upload feature—such as uploading false information, personal data of others, or copyrighted material—may result in account suspension or termination.

We share data with service providers who perform services on our behalf:

6.2b Retailer-Uploaded Content Shared with Consumers

When retail partners upload promotional materials and images to Deenow through their retailer partnership dashboard, those materials are displayed to consumers as part of promotion listings and search results. This sharing of retailer-uploaded content is the core functionality of the Deenow platform and enables retailers to reach consumers searching for nearby promotions and deals.

What Gets Shared with Consumers:

  • Retailer-uploaded promotional images, photos, flyers, and marketing materials

  • AI-extracted promotional information including text, pricing, discount percentages, promotional dates, validity periods, and terms and conditions

  • Business location information including store name, store address, and general geographic area

  • Retailer-provided operational details that retailers voluntarily choose to share, such as store hours, holiday schedules, contact phone numbers, or website links

  • Product information, descriptions, and availability details uploaded by retailers

What Does NOT Get Shared with Consumers:

  • Personal information of retailer employees, owners, or managers

  • Internal business data, financial information, or sensitive operational metrics

  • Retailer-specific analytics, performance data, or insights not already publicly available

  • Employee contact information or personal details

  • Confidential business strategies or proprietary information

Purpose of Retailer Content Sharing:

Retailers upload promotional content to Deenow specifically to have that content displayed to consumers searching for nearby promotions and deals. By uploading materials through the retailer dashboard, retailers consent to and authorize the display of their promotional content to Deenow users. This sharing is essential to the platform's functionality and value proposition—connecting consumers with relevant promotions at nearby retail locations.

Retailer Consent:

By uploading promotional materials to Deenow, retailers acknowledge and agree that their uploaded content will be displayed to consumers on the platform. Retailers understand that this content sharing is the intended use of the retailer upload feature and is necessary for Deenow to function as a promotion discovery platform. Retailers retain control over what content they choose to upload and may request removal of content at any time by contacting Deenow support.
